Changing Name Case of Files and Directories
This command lets you change the letter case of the names of selected files and directories to lower case, upper case, partially mixed case (the name part in mixed case and the extension in lower case), or mixed case. You can choose whether the case should be changed in the whole name, only in the name part, or only in the extension. This command can also optionally be applied to all files and directories contained within the selected directories.
Types of Name Case:

To change name case:
- Select the files and directories you want to change.
- Open the Change Case dialog box:
Menu: Files/Change Case... Shortcut key: Ctrl+F7 Toolbar: Choose the Change Case button on the Top, Middle, or Bottom toolbar. - Select the desired name case.
- Select which parts of the file name should be changed.
- Specify whether to include files and directories contained in the selected directories.
- Choose the OK button.
Remarks
This command is handy if you need to unify the style of file and directory names or if you need to transfer files and directories from a case-insensitive file system to a case-sensitive file system.
