How you can help
Sally is free, with no ads, no telemetry and no paid edition. One person develops it in their own time. If Sally is useful to you, here is how to keep it going.
Support development financially
Donations pay for development time: Unicode and long-path work, fixes for reported issues, testing on every Windows architecture, translations and releases. Any amount helps, once or regularly.
PayPal
Send any amount in your currency with a PayPal account or a card.
paypal.me/EliasBachaalanyBuy Me a Coffee
A one-time coffee, or a monthly membership if you want to support Sally regularly. No account needed.
buymeacoffee.com/0xebDonations go to Elias Bachaalany, who maintains Sally. They are personal gifts, not tax-deductible, and do not buy support or features: every user gets the same Sally and the same help.
Other ways to help
Money is one way; most of Sally's progress has come from people who use it and say what they find.
Star and share
A GitHub star helps a small Windows project get found. Telling a colleague who wants a fast, keyboard-first file manager helps even more.
Star on GitHubReport bugs well
A precise report with steps, version and a diagnostic report is often all a fix needs.
How to reportTest new releases
Try each release on your setup, especially with long paths, network shares, ARM64 or Wine, and say what breaks.
ChangelogTranslate
Ten languages are maintained. Correct the wording in yours, or offer a new one.
TranslationsContribute code
Fix a bug, write a plugin or a script. Small, focused pull requests are easiest to review.
