The same Sally, built natively for each processor, released in public and easy to keep current.

Native builds

Each release has portable builds for x64, x86 and ARM64. On Windows on ARM devices Sally and all its plugins run as native ARM64 code, not under emulation.

Linux with Wine

Sally runs under Wine 10.0 and newer without .NET, Wine Mono or Gecko. Panels, viewers, archives and plugins work as on Windows. See Linux and Wine.

Staying up to date

Help › Check For New Versions asks GitHub over HTTPS whether a newer release exists and can do so automatically on a schedule you set. The changelog lists what each release changed.

Built in public

Every release is built by public CI from the tagged source, scanned with Microsoft Defender, and tested in a clean Windows install against every recently fixed issue before it is published. Releases carry SHA-256 checksums and a debug-symbol archive so crash reports can be analysed.

English plus Chinese (Simplified), Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, Slovak and Spanish, for Sally and its plugins.
