Menu Bar

The Menu Bar is a bar at the top of the active window that displays the names of all menus currently available in that window.

To choose the command associated with a menu item, point to that item and click the mouse button. The system then closes the drop-down menu.

To use the keyboard to access drop-down menus, press the ALT (or F10) key to activate the menu bar. When an alphanumeric key is pressed while the Alt key is held, or after the Alt key is released, the system displays the drop-down menu whose access key matches that key.
