External Archivers Locations
Allows you to assign external archiver file names to the variables used in
Sally archiver configuration.
Dialog Box Options
- External Archivers
- Displays a list of external archivers supported by Sally.
- List and Unpack
- Displays the external archiver file name assigned to the selected variable
in External Archivers. This archiver is used for listing and unpacking
archive contents.
- Delete and Pack
- Displays the external archiver file name assigned to the selected variable
in External Archivers. This archiver is used for deleting files from archives
and packing files into archives. If the selected archiver supports all operations
(listing, unpacking, deleting, and packing), the Delete and Pack box is disabled.
Otherwise, a different external archiver file name must be assigned.

Use Options/Archivers Autoconfiguration to search for installed external
archivers on your machine.
