Converting Contents of Text Files
This command lets you convert the
contents of text files, including character encoding and line endings.
To convert file contents:
- Select the files and directories you want to convert.
- Open the Convert dialog box:
| Menu: | Files/Convert... |
| Shortcut key: | Ctrl+K |
| Toolbar: | Choose the Convert button on the Top or Middle
toolbar. |
- Use file masks to specify which
files should be converted.
- Select the current and target character encoding and line endings
for the converted files.
- Specify whether to include files in the selected directories.
- Choose the OK button.
